Who We Are

Pelimoose Productions, LLC was formed to create, edit, and publish a community magazine in Southern California. At that same time, we established ourselves as a literary agency to help writers realize their full potential. Though we are a small firm, we are determined, tenacious, and mighty, and we know how to get a great proposal into the right hands.

After a long friendship with well-known radio host Roger Barkley, and as a labor of love when Roger died unexpectedly, we published his collection of missives, The Story Man's First Writes, igniting a passion to see projects through to fruition, no matter what the obstacle. It was then that our agency really took flight. While we are focused, driven, and dedicated to our clients' needs, we are at our best when working with individuals and groups who empower and assist us in promoting their writing, amassing and growing their readership and followers through social media, and entrusting us with their hard work to ultimately enjoy great success and personal fulfillment.

If you are searching for a literary agent, we are exactly what you are looking for. We provide the right publishing help and also show you how to begin as a writer by leading you through the right avenues. We provide guidance and editing assistance, helping you to refine your own writing skills to create the best manuscript. We also help to provide you with clarity to complete your projects to keep you on track.

With Pelimoose. you get services that are friendly and personable. We assist you finding your "inner best self," so that you can tap into your voice and write from a place that you may not have known you had.

Our Founder - Tina Marie Ito

Since founding and publishing the La Cañada Flintridge Magazine back in the early 1990s, Tina has sustained a strong commitment to community. She has a desire to find a need and then fill it. She has long believed in making connections with fellow community members, merchants, business associates, and physicians and building on those professional relationships. A member of the Women's Council of Verdugo Hills Hospital for nearly 30 years, Tina has served in many capacities, most notably Fundraising Chair and President. She has also been privileged to participate on the Continuous Quality Improvement Council (CQIC) for VHH alongside the CEO, department heads, and key physicians. Tina now serves as Vice Chair of the USC Verdugo Hills Hospital's Foundation Board and has recently accepted an invitation to serve on Pepperdine University's Board of Visitors for the School of Public Policy.

During a seven-year period living in Northern California, Tina served the Board of the Educational Foundation of Orinda as Special Events Coordinator. In such capacity, she orchestrated and chaired multiple annual events for the benefit of the local schools, helping the Educational Foundation raise over $800,000 annually.

Her lifelong love of animals has kept Tina Marie interested in supporting organizations such as the Glendale Humane Society, California Wildlife Center, and the Lindsay Wildlife Museum. Upon returning to Southern California in 2001, Tina joined the board of the Glendale Humane Society, a no-kill rescue, as Director of Administration and Fundraising Chair, planning and carrying out numerous fundraising activities for the shelter and filling the role of President for four of the twelve years she was on the Board.

Tina also serves on the board of The Larry Elder Charities, while also working with Mr. Elder (a popular radio talk-show host and author) on several book projects and documentaries. She acts as a literary agent through her self-established Pelimoose Productions, LLC, and has a growing clientele.

As a side note, Tina coordinates and plans twice-yearly social gatherings for Rentrap, a group of retired KPMG partners and their spouses, up and down the coast of California, and even finds a little time to work as a Certified Firearms Instructor at a local firing range. Tina, along with her husband Dennis, raised four children and now enjoy their four beautiful grandchildren.
